In a career spanning more than fifty years, Melvyn Malkin uses his artistic experience in architecture, ceramics and printmaking to produce drawings of space and light in striking color.

Using chalk and oil pastel, these abstract landscape images take on a life of their own. Spatial tension, a sense of light and richly enhanced color provide a joyous art.

The graphite drawings show his dedicated history in this medium – fresh, rich and spontaneous.

The clay mural, a result of years spent doing ceramics, has the special quality of a technique developed to allow maximum color flexibility in this medium. Each work is individually designed, produced and installed by appointment.
